Patra pinda sweda

Patra pinda sweda is treatment for different types of Vata disorders. In this treatment, the leaves of medicinal plants having analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties and other properties are heated or fried in herbal oils to tolerable temperature and tied in a bolus. The bolus is heated in a pan or dipped in herbal oils. The heated bolus is continuously rubbed over the pain afflicted areas.
