Gastroenterology

This department provides integrative care for patients ailing fromgastrointestinal disorders and genitourinary pathologies. The major objective of this department is rooted in the concept of gut health which is the prime cause of the majority of systemic and metabolic disorders. Thus, an integrated and holistic therapy module that includes Yoga therapy (Asana, Pranayama, Suddhi Kriyas, and Special Meditation techniques), Naturopathy, and Ayurveda treatment modalities, and a meticulously designed diet regimen is provided to the participants. The significance of this module is that it is customized for each participant based on their condition and other co-morbidities. A detailed and professional consultation by all three specialists (Yoga, Naturopathy, and Ayurveda) precedes the designing of treatment module. Patients are also referred to Acupuncture, Physiotherapy and Psychological Counselling sessions based on the discretion of the treating physician. At the time of discharge the patient is provided with a take home treatment and diet regimen with a phased follow up for a year, ensuring that the person gets a complete lifestyle modification and cure for the ailment.
