Ayurveda and Naturopathy therapist training course (ANTTC)

The course designed and developed to cater the increasing need of therapists in Ayurveda and Naturopathy fields, called Ayurveda and Naturopathy Therapist Training Course abbreviated as (ANTTC). The course is of one year duration and conducted in 2 Phases and each Phase having duration of 22 weeks.

Objectives

  • To provide intensive training in Ayurveda (Panchakarma aspects) and Naturopathy and Physiotherapy treatments.
  • To impart the necessary theoretical understanding of the treatments.
  • To bring about all-round personality development of therapists with holistic vision of yoga and spiritual lore.
  • To train them to take care of patients and also to assist respective medical professionals.

Evaluation

The students are evaluated by the following tools of assessment:

  • Achievements in Ayurveda, Naturopathy and Yoga practice skills.
  • Communication skills
  • Theoretical comprehension of the subject
  • Transformation of the personality
  • Development of the zeal for selfless service, national awareness and spiritual growth.
  • Patients care
  • Diet care etc.

Student Field Training

Students posted to Arogyadhama from S-VYASA University as BSc, MSc, PGDYT, BNYS, MD and PhD and also from other institutes as PGDYT from Jadhavpur W.B, and Brudwan; BNYS from Dharmasthala, Modabidri, Alvas, Mysore Durg; BAMS from Hasan; MD from Ramaiah, Jindal, and Hasan. SVYASA University Students posted to section, Theory and Practical for 2 to 4 weeks in 10 different sections. Students will do observation for first 3 days and from another 4 days of training, students Interact with patients, take the patients parameters and conduct the classes under supervision.

Students from other institutes posted to section, theory and practical for 15 days to 1 month in 10 different sections. Students are kept for observation for 3 days, and from another 4 days of training, students interact with patients, take the patients parameters and conduct the classes under supervision. Students are asked to take the assessment, case study report and presentation, written test and practical examination. If they pass, they can go for another section for training, or if they failed they have to repeat the written test in another one week. If they pass they can go for another section for training. Students of other institution participation gets certificates and students of S-VYASA University posted to section, do the project work in different hospitals.
